I just love your way with open space and but a few objects...this is bleak and beautiful, and very much the 'other' side of summer, the side that's shy as you say, but as real to summer as the blaring hot blazing side...The front building is so simple, and it's all that's needed to root us; the sand is in two beautiful bands of smooth expanse; and the sea just beautiful and open, with what almost appears to be a 'crack' in the earth's surface. And a boat, I assume in the background. It really captures a side of summer, beautiful, bleak, peaceful and reflective...Thanks for giving us so many sides of the seasons in your gallery. This is a quiet beauty.
