Description

Okay, so Genesis is a great character, but I am still struggling with the lights on DAZ3D. This has been going on forever... I have the idea, know the effect, but I can't nail the right lighting... All feedback will be greatly appreciated... Thanx 4 Watching... Thanx 4 all the comments and faves on my previous images...

Looks like a good scene set-up. When I was using just the 3Delight render engine (I'm solely a Luxrender user now), I really liked working with a light set called Proluma 2, found here on Rendo. With Studio (they seem to be designed for Poser, fyi), some of the nicer effects never seemed to work, like the gels, but the lights themselves are very usable and make for a dramatic scene with little muss or fuss. Just a little repositioning and adjustment of intensity, or turning off a spot would make a very articulately-lit scene. Paired with UberEnvironment2, it's a one-two knockout combo.

I think it looks great, and I'm sure you will get that lighting down soon. There're so many kind and amazing artist here I'm sure someone will offer the proper advice
