These are flowers I received from a member here for my birthday which is today. So I get to celebrate this holiday twice ... yay. Thank you Michael for the flowers they are beautiful and such a wonderful surprise. And I wish you all a fun and safe 4th of July!!! hugsssssssss

well, belated happy birthday---and this was a year ago! (Nice timing, Mark!) You've often shown your inner feel for design; you've shown it throughout your gallery. And this is a really fine example of it, Lynell. You've somehow "packaged" the flowers into a container made of visual space; you've allowed all the different elements of the bouquet---including the blue ribbon/silk (whatever that material is)---to come to the fore. And you've made a still life out of it all---with the big red flower on the left, like the whole thing moves to that point. Boom---it opens up, there. I think this is beautiful, beautifully captured and conceived. And a fine 4th of July image too!
