As of just a few minuets ago I didn't intend to post anything for the 4th of July 2012...but I happened to pop on over to my FaceBook and low in behold my aunt Sadie had tagged me in a picture she shared! It was taken today July 4th, 2012 of my Grammy Lillian holding sparklers!! lol My Gram will be 100 years old July 18th, 2012!!!! So folks imagine how many 4ths she has seen in her day!!! Grammy Lillian, I can only hope your here for another fourth next year! You taught me sooo much I'll never forget that's for sure! You rock Gram!! At her Birthday party this year she will be awarded with the Boston Cane award also...can you tell I'm dam proud of her?? lol I love you Grammy!!! Thanks for the click, comments, and favs on my previous posts! Hope all had a Happy and safe 4th!

Excellent post for your gallery. I bet her early 4th of july celebrations were way better than todays.... Colorado has cancelled and outlawed many fireworks because we are having out worst fire season ever. when I was a kid, I wanted to live to 100... I'm 49, my body is feeling beat and I'm not even half way there - it truely is amazing when a person can make it to 100.

Unfortunately all my grandparents are gone and miss them dearly so if you don't mind I'd like to adopt your Grammy and to wish her the most joyous and most wonderful 100th Birthday!!!..I bet that wonderful lady could dazzle me for days on end with the stories she has to tell...I'd sit there glued to her every word....(smiles)... Here's hoping she has the best of the best Birthdays and she doesn't look a day over 75....(smiles)...
