Description

Hi there. As I remember correctly, this is a Emerald Tree monitor (Varanus prasinus). The height of the terrarium was about 3m and I look at the ground and see nothing. As I look higher I saw the guy you see in the picture. Fortunately I'm about 6,6 foot high and I was able to take a portrait of him. Tomorrow I will show you the whole guy.

"Oh, my cousin! So nice to see you again! Do they take good care of you? Do they feed you your daily tourist? You don't look like you're starving." - T.Rex. Nice looking "little" fellow. I assume they feed him rats when there's a lack of tourists on the menu! I've seen feeding times - not so pleasant. Besides that, they are quite fascinating animals. Thanks for posting this "portrait". Keep up the good work! :-)
