this is close to my heart because I've taken many shots of Lake Michigan in the morning that look like this. I realize your shot isn't a lake, and I realize it's sun-set and not sun-rise. But the hues, the golden amber of the sky, the almost gold-silver sheen to the water, the flatness of the waves...these all remind me of my lake at dawn. You live in a very beautiful part of the world, and this is a sweeping and beaut, as the sun does at sunrise and sunset: Ie, it kind-of flattens out along the sky as it gets closer to the horizon...Very sensitive and sweeping capture.
