Description

Hug Point is a small coastal area just a few miles south of Cannon Beach that is designated as a State Recreation Site. According to Wikipedia, "Late 19th century stagecoaches that used the beach as a highway "had to 'hug' this particular point even at low tide to get around it", hence the name Hug Point.". Though small, it is very interesting - there are caves in the sandstone cliffs, a couple of small waterfalls, interesting rocks, tidepools, puddles, & channels of water in interesting formations. You definitely need to be prepared to get wet when you take a walk around here. This is the first of several photos I will post of Hug Point... Please zoom

Wonderful POV my friend. The eye led in by the little creek there.

Your postwork is incredible. I can always tell one of your photos at first sight because you have found your specialty and you are creating a signature style. This could easily be sold as framed work for any elegant room in the house.

Another favorite! Excellent photo, excellent effect! BTW, I downloaded Luminance HDR. I'm not sure how long it will take me to get the university degree to go with it! lol At this point, I haven't got a clue how to use it. I might have to go against the Man Creed and actually read the manual! :(

I agree with PK ... this is totally wall worthy! It has an old-fashioned landscape feel to it, yet it's wholly modern. Beautiful!
