You'll be quite safe here, you know, safe from your enemies and your friends (I suppose there is a difference between them ...) and quite safe too, from rescue by your colleagues and your lawyers, though not, of course, from the consequences of your actions - thieving, lying, cheating, bullying, threatening, looting, harming and murdering.
And, by the way, these robots obey orders - my orders - and no-one else's. You've never approved of robots that can think for themselves - well, here you are, these don't; and you can't persuade, bribe, cajole or threaten them to get them to obey you.
As far as the world is concerned, you've disappeared; and in no time at all you'll be forgotten, and it will be as if you had never lived at all.
No, it's not cruel. It's in memory of all the thousands you have crushed on your way to the top of your nasty little world.
