This is what happened to me yesterday,........ my hole got watered. 1.25 inches of rain right after it hit 107 degrees. Dropped to 78 in 15 minutes. Nice view of this perfect little place that the animals and birdies can get a little drink from!!!

Looking good Lyla. Just as an experiment, try moving your sun around and with different elevations. Also try lowering your gamma from the default 2.1 to 1.9 or lower. Increase the 'red sky decay' also.
