Description

I saw the old man lend over and told the young lady something. i was happy i took the photo as the reaction was pure fun. I talked to her after and she told me he say something that happen a long time ago. He was her god father. may be her grand father also. i do not know that part. I not too much on catholic belies. this is the only way i could think of to paint it so people will understand the faces. acrylic on canvas. the painting is one painting all done on one canvas wonder if this is pop art?

Excellent painting Jock! you've captured with your brushes the moment with all its meaning. Their expressions are great! The godparents are those chosen by the child's parents to take their place if something happens to them. they are committed to raising the child, ensure the child morally and economically and teach him/her according to the beliefs of the dead parents.For a Catholic this is a big commitment, acquired during the baptism of the child

Jock, this is one of the most fantastic paintings I've seen in a long time my friend. Love how this collage tells the story and how expressive each character is here. You pay so much attention to detail not with just the main characters but everything going on around them.
