I went to a party for an old man and enjoyed lot's of Filipino food. this table had part of the desserts it is so funny that the old man around home has so much trouble getting around supposedly, but at the casino he has a miracle and can walk okay dragging his walker behind him. he got very lucky last Saturday and won $3000.00, but the following morning he was thinking he had won $30,000 and was asking his wife where his 30 grand was at

Funny story about the old man. I had a great uncle whose name was Charles Livingston and he got a bit confused after he turned 80. He would entertain us all with his stories of his adventures in Africa. He would sit in the parlor of my grandmother's house, children at his feet and adults packed on sofas and chairs, relating his safaris and quests for the city of gold... We never corrected him...he kept us mesmerized for hours with the best of tales. In truth, Uncle Charles had been a merchant in Canada all of his life - but he loved to read and his books became his own life. The food at this spread looks pretty good! Bet it was a lovely celebration.
