Description

Continued from last week. As the crew of Endeavour slowly move the already assembled elements of the MMS-1 from the Von Braun Space Platform to the location in Earth orbit chosen by NASA for the next stage of the MMS-1 assembly programme the crew of Atlantis match orbits and approach from the opposite direction. As the crew of Endeavour bring their part of the MMS-1 spacecraft to a full stop the crew of Discovery move in so that they can oversee the mating operation at close range. With both Endeavour and Discovery ready for the next phase of the operation the crew of Atlantis slowly, ever so slowly move the 3CM unit toward the MMS-1.
