My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Ha! You got me laughing, Tara. I've been using Photoshop for all kinds of things, including this type of work! Yupp! The pattern really come out well in this color! Keep up the good work! :-)

Nicely done! It looks like a lovely quilt.

Nice rendering of that pale sage green quilt. Funny, I also have a pale sage green quilt, why doesn't that surprise me? Although I'm sure mine is machine quilted. I would never have the patience for that many stitches!

Oh, I just love the way you can change reality with photoshop. I mean, Duplex-8 started that way, although I blame a particular cute friend for even providing the inspiration for that Alex guy. Anyway...I giggled rather gigglishly when I read the bit about you changing the color of the quilt. And what an image! Sometimes the smallest things are the most profound. I saw this and immediately wondered if the fabric of reality could do with a bit of a photoshop tweak. Imagine that: photoshopping reality, but then, you just did it with this shot. I love the curvy stuff going on in this, and the nice, plush, wrinkly business going on around the stitching has a nice skin-like texture: like you've just macro photographed the hide of some really interesting, stitched critter with a sloth's vocabulary of movements. I like this! And I'd love to see other colors. Well...most other colors. Klein Blue, from what I hear, is particularly...um...disturbing to see for some reason.
