Description
As promised, a close view of some of the marine life at Hug Point, shot at a distance with maximum zoom. This starfish is surrounded by anemones. It seems to have a kind of gelatinous covering over it - I'm really not sure if that's just a trick of the light & just the starfish itself or if a jellyfish has attached itself to the starfish?

It has something of extraterrestrial life and surreal .... or maybe both? Super HDR edit!!

Beautiful photo of the tidal pool creatures. When I was a kid on Okinawa, I caught an octopus in a tidal pool. I guess tidal pools are like a box of chocolates.
