can you share a wire frame or a discription of how it is done. It sure looks good now but it is hard to make a judgement without the texture and how you have modeled it.

Thanks. I just took a look at your gallery - pretty impressive all around! I'd sure like to share the wireframe, texture etc. but I've lost the whole thing; actually had to go back to this site to get the finished image back! - My harddrive crashed and the backup program had 'neatly' dodged the folder where I kept the project :( Having seen your stuff, I doubt I can give you must insight that you don't already know.. except perhaps the fluid-reflex-bit on the eyes. It uses the MR roundedcorners node; when the clear surface (the 'water' layer of the eye) hits another texture (lower part of the eye opening) it bevels by default. Adjusted correctly it'll do a small reflection, which makes the eye look wet and more alive. That aside, there's not much to say; it's done as a polygon all the way, texture is small (512*512) and in one piece, with just a bump map added, done mostly in Photoshop.. except for the lips which is photo based. Hair is 'Shave and a Haircute'-plugin. Rendered in MR using the misss_fast_skin for the main surface. I did have a lot of ideas for modifying and expanding the model... but now that it's all gone, I doubt I'll go back and redo it..
