it's meant to look like that, actually! Ex-military so they whacked off the engines and much of the weapons. So the engines were replaced by civilian ones and the paint jobs don't match. Never seen such stuff in REAL life? ;) That's the point of the pic, a patched up, non-uber cool looking, working vehicle.

Nice image! My only suggestions for improving it would be to apply some more gritty textures, and perhaps some running lights so we can see areas of the ship that are shadowed.

I must ask, how did you model this ship? I'm trying to learn more about ship modeling, and I can't find very much online.

I used Rhino3D to model it it takes a while to learn, but isnt too hard, basically you build it piece by piece...using solid objects and curves
