Description
This is a commissioned piece. I know it's not exactly perfect, but I didn't have a whole lot to work with. The lady that asked me to do this said she wanted it colorized as well and gave me the colors to use. The original picture is from 1904. It is a picture of her father at age 4. Yes they dressed little boys in dresses back then and yes that is a purse he has in his hand. He is standing on a chair and has his arm resting on the back of the chair. I spent almost 5 hours on this piece. Thanks for viewing. Comments are welcomed.

Wow! This is greate! As I do restaurations of vintage photos most of my time I know this is a lost case and you had to repaint it over which you did whith magnificient suxcess! Remainds me of Pirosmani somehow... did the lady was satisfied? She should be -- this is excellent!
