Description
This is a first attempt at digitally faking the kind of 'miniature model' pic usually achieved by tilt/shift photography. It's a view of a car park from a hotel balcony in Lisbon.
The man standing in the middle, who does look a bit like a plastic model, is directing traffic into free parking spaces in the hope that the driver will give him a euro for his trouble.

It is interesting how our eyes percieve the miniature effect with the blurred edge and the suggestion of depth of field. Surprisingly it is the trees that look the most real. (this comment is only 12 years late)
