Of course the figure isn't W.C.Fields 1880 to 1946, but Fields expressed his feelings to Gloria Jean(playing his niece) in NEVER GIVE A SUCKER AN EVEN BREAK, "I was in love with a beautiful blonde once, dear. She drove me to drink. That's the only thing I'm indebted to her for." Thus the quote.

Very rare to hear anyone that actually enjoyed W.C. Fields as I thought I was alone in that department..I find one of his most taboo films to be "The Dentist"...They definitely crossed the line on that movie.....lol.....
