Description

Now can u imagine riding around on that seat for long hours no way u would end up throwing ur back at of whack for sure not good for the spine at all and technology has come so far with these tractors but who can afford them other than the really big farmers.

I have never seen one of these here with those close-together front wheels. Most interesting!

Excellent photo. Nothing like going the direct route with that steering linkage.

A John Deere "A", I think. The B model had the same metal spring seat, but as a kid I didn't have any aftereffects from working on it in the field for day after day. Or maybe I was just a 9-10 year old who enjoyed driving one of these beasts. BTW, the close front wheels, plus individual brakes on each rear wheel, meant you could literally turn it on a dime!

I sold one just like that in Summerfield Florida. It was a 1937 model and you spun the wheel to start it. That baby cranked right up too.

I like the POV, color and detail - no way my body could bounce around the fields on that unpadded seat! Ouch! :o)
