Description

Visited Andrea's gallery this morning and I mentioned that no one would know green is my favorite color, not by looking at my gallery anyway, and it's just not all the Sandstone images. There just seems to be a lack of green as a whole! To sum up today's post...gallery needed some greens. :~)Spend a moment in green tranquility and enjoy a zoom! To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2348147.jpg

How wonderful!! I could not live where there is no green, I feel deprived if I spend too long in the supermarket. You asked about the grass going brown: it mainly goes yellow and white here, but the rains are keeping it green longer this year. A nightmare for the grain farmers if it continues into harvest time.

First thing I thought of before reading your words is "What the hey is this all about?" For anyone else I would hardly blink. I like the structure of the falls and the contrast between the silver white and emerald green. The clarity of the rock pool also contrasts nicely with the blurred out falls.

Beautiful shot. That area must have some serious humidity. And look at all that downed timber. It looks like it would be rough hiking there.

I live in town but am lucky that living on a small Island I can access the country side in 5 minutes, a lovely shot and a great spot

I can just hear the sound of the water rushing over the fallen timber, the rocks and moss, gurgling into the pool below...and feel the spray. A simply wonderful image Dana and nice to contemplate on a hot day :)

Oh my God. This is incredible. So many things come to mind. I wonder .... Does the water always heavily flow so turbulently there? Those falls are wild! It's so beautiful I would never want to leave there. And I had a farfetched thought too, but it makes me wonder how they can say it's impossible for a Sasquatch to exist in today's world. The density of that wilderness is astounding! You can probably get lost walking fifty feet off the path. If there is a path. LOL. Super beautiful spot and shot!

This is certainly a 'cool' change from the usual, Dana - very refreshing indeed! Love all that Moss so spectacularly distributed, here, there and everywhere ... a very organic image, BB
