Blackbirds really love raisins. They can also be very demanding about the quantity of raisins they get.

What a great capture of Mr. Greedyguts. We have scrub jays that like to eat up all the sunflower seeds I put out for my squirrels and birds. They irritate me to no end. Scrub jays and blackbirds need to learn to leave some for others.

Mine love bombay mix. I'd go so far as to say they'd fight for it! I fear my Mr Greedyguts may have been predated as I've not seen him for almost a week. Luckily he bred twice this year & his progeny still visit my garden for their curry fix!

HaHa...this one makes me laugh so much Lynn. So typical a pose. Blackbirds are very demanding. It's costing me a fortune in sultanas and raisins.

Yep! These people are quite demanding! CUTE, but demanding, and I suspect that they're as demanding as they are because they know they're cute! Funny how that works. I happen to have a fondness for crows, ravens, blackbirds, grackles, and starlings...basically the loud-mouths of the bird world, and this little person looks rather loud, and quite nice. This is a great shot.
