Description

I'm back here again, even for a short time! Tomorrow morning I'm going back again at home of my son. Here in Sicily, the summer is very hot... temperatures are above 40°C (104°F), last Thursday we have exceeded the 46°C (114.8°F). I spend my days at sea or in the pool with my grandchildren... in the photo you can see my son's house overlooking the pool... the entrance is on the far left and my room overlooks the balcony over the white tent. I hope all of you're spending a wonderful summer! See you soon! :)

This is a fantastic picture of this beautiful house Maria. Many people would spend a lot of money to vacation in a place like Sicily and in a house like your sons. It makes it a little easier to endure the 40C+ temperatures. Enjoy your stay there.

That's a beautiful home! Even if you didn't have the grandchildren to enjoy, it would be difficult not to enjoy being in such a lovely place. We have been having heat indexes of 115+ degrees F. for several weeks now. My wife and I stay mostly inside during daylight hours after 9 am. Good to hear from you, dear friend!

Lovely to see a posting from you and what a beautiful place your son has. It sounds as though you need the pool to keep cool in those very hot temperatures. 46 C is very hot indeed. I'd be a melted pool of fat.lol.
