Description

This fucker took 134 hours to render.....don't ask my why, I really have no idea what aspect of it caused it to take so fucking long.....but I'm rather fond of how it turned out so I guess I will have to forgive Vue this time.... Anyway, the bulk of the models were made with xfrog....the trees are a mixture of models I made with silo 3d upon which were grafted Vue solid growth trees..... Hope you like it!

Well Fuck!!!...Why don't you tell us how you really feel about it...lol.....Only 134??.....say it with more conviction next time....roflmao!... Sorry for my way of commenting as it was not my intention to do so.Seeing this is my 1st time viewing your work I only was going to leave a short introduction and say I really find your Vue work to be splendidly fantastic and then read your opening statement..."This fucker took 134 hours to render"....and damn near rolled outta my chair laughing as I can so relate to your agony as so many of mine have (after selecting render) went into Rip Van Winkle mode...lol...So I apologize and just wanted to say after looking this over in zoom I can pretty much see why it took so long because "perfection" takes time!...(smiles)... ~Will~

Hehe.. I think Knightwolverines has the best comment.. and he had me cracking up.. I think that amount of time is absurd... but what do I know.. re your picture.. awesome.. I LOVE the details here ( some of the rendering issues?) and am very fond of the touches of blue... I like it.. a lot!

a very nice scene... what is the resolution of the final render? i'm rendering some scenes in Maya,which are complex and take a lot of time to render too, res is 5800px on longest side...

All the transparencies Vue had to calculate. You didn't say on what type of system. Yes, you should forgive Vue for being so kind as to put this True Gem of an Image out! Really Beautiful Piece of work!!!
