Description

This reminded me of a Raspberry Ripple icecream. Many of my own dahlias have been destroyed by the unprecendented number of snails and slugs this year. The garden has a basic structure and will always look green and pleasant but much colour has been consumed before it gets beyond buds!

Someone told me once to put out salt or rock salt around the garden perimeteer and where else you may be allowed in the garden as an organic defense. Told it's like acid to their skin, though I've never tried it. This is an amazing Dahlia! Sorry I'm falling behind on commenting. Got 48 hrs. left to pack a four bedroom house all by my onesome!

This is a spectacular specimen Andrea. I love the colors and it reminds me of the local peppermint candy ice cream. I hate to say thisbut it might be time to start stepping on some of your snails ans slugs.
