Description

This is the old and I think ony shop im Malham. Malham is set in a valley in the Yorkshire Dales and is a great place for walking over the druy stonve pavements of Malham Cove and nearby Gordale Scar. Not far from here is the waterfall of Janets Foss that I posted recently. If you get to this part of Yorkshire this is a great place to visit.

There does not appear to be a door at all on this side of the building. Do you know the age of this building and it original purpose? Nice shot!

I treasure your gallery because I've always wanted to see these places...I'm a great fan of the British mystery novel. I know your pictures will be as close as I'll ever get to the British countryside. It seems every photo you post...enhanced by your postwork textures....evokes a fictional place I've read about. I really enjoy the experience.

A fine capture of a charming, well worn old stone building. Wish that red sign wasn't there, though...
