Description
During one of my lunch-time walks last month, this rather delightful steam launch passed through the lock.
This 52ft long vessel was built in 1898 to umpire rowing races at The Henley Royal Regatta and is, these days, manned and maintained by volunteers.

You can also tell that we are in the middle of a British summer - hats, coats and, probably, thermal undies.
