Description

My cat was not at the dog show but was at this trailer i was tearing down. here is the link to the trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIgvNgidXoE&list=UUFE6ocQyTOvUkYs5nbe6tYg&index=3&feature=plcp I took my cat out there so he can be with me. we just moved and he was all by himself and was spook . he would mostly lay under my truck in till I ready to go then he would jump into the truck. anyway these two boys came over to ask if they could get some wood so they could build a rabbit cage. I say yes and one of the boys had two dogs that look like these two but was not pure breed. any way the dogs attack my cat and and the cat beat them off but they keep on come at him. then one started to cirle my cat and my cat saw what they was up too so he ran just fast enought to keep ahead of the two dogs. I try to tell the boy to call his dogs off but he just laugh about and watch. i told him my cat is a old tom cat and he going to beat up your dogs. he just laugh. My cat got to a place where they could not circle him and he turn around and beat those two dogs up and the dogs ran all the way home. The boy just hang his head and turn walking off saying " I can not believe this" over and over.

Good on your cat. Little shit of a kid who asks you for a favour and then acts like a real jerk. What, he thought it would be funny if his dogs tore up your cat? Kid got badly needed lesson.

LOL, that is hysterical and true. I had a dog once who could not stop chasing 2 kittens we also had. At first they just ran under an old couch and hid. Well after a while the dog got bigger but the cats then learned he would still chase them under the couch. He was now to big and would get his head stuck. They would then get up in the springs and really beat him up so that he would yelp for help. Well we would pull him out, only to have him chase them back under again and get beat up. Cats are smarter. Wonderful capture Jock.

:) LOL. Great picture and a great story! I have one too. I know this one guy from town and he was at a party. He knelt down by the entertainment center to look through the CD's in the box there -- and the house owner's cat pounced on his face and scratched the hell out of him! LOL. Oh my God! I know. Not funny -- but funny too because he was okay. But I saw him the next day and his face was blown up, swollen like a balloon! LOL. I tried to tell him to go the emergency room, but he wouldn't listen and the swelling went down anyway. Yup. Do not mess with cats! LOL.

The kids are worse than their dogs. They are lucky their dogs didn't lose their eyes.... Glad your cat was OK... Aloha

Such rotten little scum sucking rat headed boys as to not call off their dogs when you asked them and especially when you were being nice to them and letting them have some wood for their rabbit hutch. I'm glad your cat taught not only the dogs, but the boys a lesson as well! A very fine candid photo here, Jocko! Most well captured and presented! Bravo!

I say an eye for an eye, that's what I say. Revenge is sweet. Anyway, interesting shot of what looks to be a beagle and somekind of hound dog, Jock.

It sounds like you have one very tough cat that taught a lesson to the dogs and the boys which they won't forget for a long time.Another good shot of the show dogs.

I would have taken a 2X4 to those boys and showed them who was the top cat in the neighborhood but sounds like your cat took care of things. I had a basset hound like the one on the right maul me severely when I was 3. My face was nearly ripped off and I took so many stitches... I still carry a few of those scars on my face around my mouth where most of the damage was done. I love beagles but I walk wide around bassets. Wonderful story, Jock and a really fine photo.

That kid should teach his dogs to be nice to cats. My dog used to hate cats when she was a wild desert dog. But when she came to live with me, I told her she had to stop. Another nice dog show picture. They should hire you as the roving candid man.

should always be wary of a 'sleeping dogs' instinct ... a cat that always rest a cat! Beautiful photo contest! Beautiful story ...

Cats are pretty good at looking after themselves, we had one that was bit by a fox, later when she had got over it the fox had another go this time there was a lot of blood but it was not the cats, nice shot and a great story.

Good story Jock! I once saw a Magpie give a cat a real going over before the cat ran off licking his wounds.
