I admire your patience and it has paid off, this is a superb shot.

I know exactly how difficult this is. I just don't have the reaction time to follow these guys in the air as they change direction so frequently and abruptly! I have taken many hundreds with very little to show for it; same sort of success ratio as with shooting dragonflies in mid air. So I think you did quite a nice job of it! One thing I noticed around here is that they frequently dive far into the water and as they come out they will quickly turn their head right around to take a quick scan behind for predators as they lift off the water surface. Caught that twice!

A very delicate capture, with wonderful blue and a great action of the swallow. I like it, this is dedicated to our dear friend Mario. Asking myself in what country this shot was taken, as you where 'everywhere' ;-).

A really superb shot! I admire your patience in getting this image, but it sure paid off. Just wondering: where did you take this photo, because the water seems so iceblue.
