Description

30's era stereotypes ahead...Jettison the champagne and all pretence at political correctness... WIP. After the completing the "Lodestar," I've chosen the Grumman Goose Amphibian as my next project. Developed originally as a kind of weekend "runabout" for wealthy Americans (in a world without commuter helicopters), the outbreak of WW2 saw the "Goose" easily slide into the role of small knockabout military seaplane. It's Pacific provenance though is capped off by it appearing centre stage as "Cutter's Goose" in the 1980's TV adventure series "Tales of the Gold Monkey." "Isn't that right, Jack?" "Ruff! Ruff!" Thanks for viewing and comments.

I am so jealous. I really need to get back to some airplane modeling. That looks amazing.
