Hi! I'm the Rookie. I'm a retired design engineer for a local utility in northern Michigan. I started rendering as a diversion and to keep my mind active. I found out it was fun! I am not looking to become a great artist only to give people a chuckle. I think humor is important in living the good life and a long life, and the human condition.
I'm still on a steep learning curve, but I've seen improvement as I practice. My only prior experience was with a company techinological drafting program that I used to makes work orders for the utility crews. Believe me it was nothing like Poser. I love your fav's and comments and if I don't respond to your comments I'm sorry-- I claim senior privilege!
I draw my inspirations from life - my post "Medium Rare" came about because my wife was complaining about the present hot spell cooking her, I responded "When you get to medium rare I'll take a nibble." others are jokes and music that I listen to ie. Princples Of Lust from the group Enigma. And Just flights of fantasy.
I hope you enjoy my efforts...now let's see page 102.."enabling inverse kinematics"Â Â Â Â

Ah, Gimp. It's amazing. It just does so much. I'm still figuring out something new every time I open it. Another great fun render here and oh how true the sentiment behind it is.
