My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

I like a good texture and a good challenge and this is a stunning shot. I love the "Tara Effect" which is what I call those charming bits and pieces of things that always strike me like the brush strokes of an impressionistic painting. There are whole worlds in your fragments, and that makes your stuff so rich and deliciously chewy in all of the best possible ways. I love your use of light and softer, warm colors in this image. It's brilliantly done. And though I've only offered two images for this month's challenge (at the time of writing this comment) I'm very much aware of different textures lurking around all over the place. Don't you just love lurking textures? This is a brilliant shot. I like it a LOT.

Warm and wonderful, Tara! I can almost feel the textures of the basket, and the smooth silkyness of the ribbon. Most excellent my dear friend! :-D
