Description
Sandman always has a taste for women in the grotto's of Lobar City, but every once in a while, he finds himself in the low rent district for more official reasons.
Trouble is, if an augmented fellow like Sandman shows up without the cash, streetwalkers are notoriously apprehensive.
Fortunately, Sandman knows the way to their hearts; since natural tobacco is so very rare in 2047, a singular cigarette is worth more than gold to folks on the poor end of the scale. Light them with a match, and the information begins to pour like fine Bordeaux.
This is one of my new images that took around a week to assemble and render; it was in the slow cooker for 43 hours alone, which is quite long since the speed increases in the release of Luxrender 1.0.
All render, outside of my crimson worx gear sig.
Sandman's arms and legs are the Cyberpunk for M4 sets @Daz, then use the 'Ultra Upgrade for Cyberpunk for M4' texture sets available at Digital3DPlayground.
The burly fellow in the background is also wearing the 'Augmented Man' texture set from Digital3DPlayground, using Xurge's Nanosuit.
The female's interesting suit is none other than the newish Vindicator, which I really had to fight myself not to use a shader package. It came out great using the stock package with material tweaks in Reality.

Love it, Soups. In fact, I love it so much that I looked at it full-size about six times before writing this comment. It's so easy to just look at a render and miss all the intricate detail and that's something that I hate to do when someone has invested as much time and effort as you clearly have with this. I'm always impressed by real clarity in a render and you've got that here. So much going on and yet it's all so clear. Great job and soooo worth the work you've put in.

Excellent! Love the tobacco angle. I roll my own cigarettes and buy tobacco by the pound bag. I'm gonna' own Lobar City in 2047! :) LOL. Tremendous work, my friend! Really enjoyed reading your production notes as well.

Excellent real looking scene ! I t must be looked at many times and in full screen to really appreciate the details. Your lighting is excellent and your textures are fantastic. It might almost be a picture. A fav !

Really super work and interesting city details. Superb render too. I would just like to see a tab more "bounce" light on the man's front esp, just to we can all enjoy this character more (and to make his illumination a bit more similar to the lady's). Cracking work though!

For Kinchie, I'd really thought about adding a small mesh light to illuminate the focal male more, but to get the 'real' aspect of him standing in the shady underside of the building, that's what ended up happening. The driving light of this was a tweaked 'Sun' light in Reality/Lux settings, just above and behind the skyscrapers in the far background. I liked where the shadows fell after some positioning and many test renders, so we'll chalk it up to sacrificial differences for the rest of the scene. I do have some very revealing renders in my gallery if you're curious =D
