It looks like the bridge has a zig-zag, and if so, then it's perfect for keeping ghosts from following you, if you're in China. According to Chinese legend, ghosts move only in straight lines and so to keep one from following you across a river, the bridge has to zig-zag like this one seems to. This is a brilliant and touching photograph. Very touching, very elegant. I like it quite a lot. Also, every time I see a bridge, I name it. I like your title for this photograph. It makes me think of a bridge named by one of my favorite authors. It's actually a bridge in New York. He calls it, "The Bridge of Lost Desires." I thought of that when I saw this image. Wonderful!
