"Bonnie Prince Charlie" or Charles Edward Stuart is a well known historical individual by the people of Derby as it was here where he turned his army around and returned home to Scotland.
there is 2 references to him in Derby this statue in the city center(centre)as a memorial and nearby to where I live in the village of Chellaston there is a public house A.K.A Pub which is named "The Bonnie Prince" a refrence to him.
Charles Edward Stuart Died in his hometown in Rome in 1788.
