What a sensational macro capture Barb, the details are superb. It appears the little guy picked the perfect resting spot just as you pointed out. This spot seems to have it all, from a little bit of shade to a freshwater supply

Love these shots with dew drops .. or is it rain drops? A great capture, you were lucky the fly stayed there and posed for you! Or maybe it's not luck, you're just a good hunter with your camera!!

you now have proof that house flies are also leaf flies lolol cute little germy guy!.... you got a really amazing shot here!!! the DOF focus and color sat/exposure spot on... i had to look 2 times at the camera info I could not believe it at first!! WOW you really know that little camera well,... great shot!!!!!!!!!!!!
