An amazing look at Wizard Island Dana and it is hard to explain that Crater Lake in an extinct volcano that has filled with water. Wizard Island is a mere cinder cone. If I remember correctly, Crater Lake is the second deepest lake in the world and secoun only to a lake in Russia. Safe trip!
