Donna got herself and her dead friend back to the camp at Adel. She was making her report to Loraine their leader, Loraine wasn't pleased that Phyllis was dead they were good friends. Beth Masters was next in line for Phyllis's job as second in command.It was obvious they had walked into a hornets nest with all these goblins. They probably wiped out Hicks and were moving this way. A few of the people of Adel had disappeared but 34 still remained, everybody would need to be moved to the strongest building in the town to make a stand which would be here. This building was concrete and had a high porch. Hopefully whatever was blocking the radio signal would die and they could call for help or get the phones to work again and just telephone someone at the base, it seemed communications were cut. These goblins looked to be meat eaters so guessing what happened to the missing people wasn't going to be hard. The only questions were, where did this breed come from and how did they get to be in such numbers? The goblins of Tyber Island were bred to be mainly plant eaters with some meat in their diet of small animals, they had human type teeth not the K-9 teeth these goblins have and are a lot shorter these are bigger than a human and a lot stronger. The Tyber Island goblins also had advanced learning skills and got along with humans off the island, they were also programmed to mainly take humans as slaves and not eat them these were wild beast with a pack mentality. All 43 remaining people had to hang on and not become goblin food. The first order of business was to make the building stronger. Cordelia was on the roof as a look out, she could see them advancing on the town there were at least a thousand. Time was quickly getting short. So far they had stayed outside of the village but it looked like soon they would have the courage to enter the village and the numbers to take the place.
