Description

Quite an old shot, August 2004. We had just bought a Minolta 7hi, 5 megapixel, and were trying it out in the backyard. The camera featured macro at each end of the zoom, I wish other cameras offered this sensible feature. I spotted this wasp(?) at work. Setting the zoom to maximum, 200mm, and switching to macro mode; I was able to remain a comfortable distance away when shooting. Exposure and focus were selected by the camera, no post work. Please view full size, the detail just amazed us.
