Created with Mandelbulb 3D 1.8.2, post-processing done with IrfanView and PSP Pro X4; this was a most interesting image to work with and one named for the Fractal Gallery here at Renderosity...enjoy! :-)

Wow! That is some "full-size" view. My monitor suddenly felt small until I took it (the picture) down to size. Nice image. Did you try introducing a little colour contrast or is the overall warmish tone as intended. Mind you, gold is warm and I'd go for a little of that (the real thing, of course).
