This has been one hell of a week. It's been wrought with nothing but crashing hopes and disappointment. I am still searching for someone to review my book. Even when I give it away for free I can't get one person to give me even one review on Amazon. I got hopeful that a few blogs were going to read and review my book, but all this digging and submitting has resulted in nothing. Reflection to the fact that I've been published since 2005 and haven't even been able to get one review was not kind either.
Then my basement flooded b/c of the condensation tube and it almost ruined my Christmas presents.
Overtime is ending soon at work and I'm trying to work 50 hour weeks, which makes me cranky.
On top of that I had one of my weenie dogs die yesterday and one die today. The other three are scared to death apparently at the turn of events. Sometimes it's nice to just go numb. I have that ability.
I did manage to make this because FutureFantasyDesign (Ariana) sent me some of her wonderful backgrounds and I had a random idea.
Unfortunately I didn't get to make it until now. We've had really bad storms all week long just conveniently when I get home from working 9+ hours a day.
Well, that's enough from me. I'm getting tired. I worked really hard and had a really rough week.

Shannon, first of all let me say how truly sorry I am for all the struggles you're going through right now my friend. It seems like sometimes life hands us a bit more than we can bear and that's the time to lean on friends and family. I'm sorry for the loss of your little dogs, I know how heartbreaking that can be. As for your book, let me just say please don't give up. Sometimes it can feel like you're hitting a wall and nothing is moving forward. Truth be told you're a very talented artist and author and I'm certain one day soon thanks will work out for you. I'll put you in my prayers that your book can be reviewed soon, the rest of your little dogs will be safe, and you can be happy once again.

OMG! I'm so sorry to hear all this! I would totally offer to review, but I've just been assigned 2000 (no joke - 2000!!!) pages of reading for a book club that I'm in for August. If you don't mind waiting till September, I can do a review then...

Yeah. I can sympathize with that. RL is not fun lately. Glad you managed to create such a nice render even if it is a bit dark. And book readers can be fickle things. Sorry they are not giving feedback.
