Description

Kayla had learned at a young age that she had a certain connection with animals. She often called upon her friend's sharp talons to provide her a quick meal while in the high country. Body is a modified Ailin Skin texture is a modified Yuma by StefyZZ Staff is from free stuff with texture by me Feathers are by Zrincz (unmodified) (very nice prop, Zrincz!) Background was done in Bryce. All else is post-work. This image is sadly cropped way down from the original. There was a very nice tree just to her left that I just couldn't get in and maintain adequate detail on the main character and falcon. The falcon is part handpainted and part photograph. As a Bryce artist, I have to stop and draw breath when I look at this piece. The depth of field and distance blur are wonderful and the terrain materials are wonderfully done. The lighting is beautiful and the pose and post work are simply exquisite. You've come very far very quickly and it's wonderful to watch your work progress. A beautiful and refreshingly different image my friend!
