Description
Ramon stayed with her through it all, coaxing, encouraging and being her Rock of Gibralter through all the shreeking in frustration, the tears and the doubt.
Just when she thought she was pretty much a hopeless case and would never get this right, she turned herself back into her old self.
"Stop! Stop!" Ramon laughed. "This is fine with me. This is the girl I always fall in love with. She is fine with you? You know, you look like this many times - almost no difference. You have reached down into the memory of your soul and this is what you bring up. Maybe it's for a reason. She is fine with you?"
"It is me, isn't it?" Lisbet leaned in to the mirror assessing herself. She shrugged then and cast Ramon a sidelong glance in the mirror. "Really? This is what you love?" She giggled just a bit.
"If you want to try to change yourself again, back to Katherine do it. I cannot tell you what to do and who to be. I would not wish this. We must all be as we are happy to be. Too many people forget this, and I will not enforce my ideas on you. I want you to be 'you', as you feel comfortable. Oui? There is plenty of time to be other people, but right now it is your choice Lisbet."
She turned to him and threw her arms around him, laying her head on his chest. "How do you get so wise?"
Ramon laughed. "I am just very, very old, that's all."
"I think I will call it quits for now...before I turn myself into a goat or something!"
"I did that once."
"Nooooooo."
"I did!"

Every woman has that problem. We put make up on to look like 'ourselves' (?) I solved the problem. I quit wearing make up. Who's gonna' see it anyway... the dogs? Nice changeling. ")
