Description

Thank you for stopping for a closer look. Any and all comments are welcome and appreciated. I found it amazing how close this cowboy's pose is to the poster hanging on the fence behind him. Was a fluke in timing as there is no way I could have delibertly set up this shot. I have been away from the galleries for a little over 2 weeks. The torrential rains we have experienced has left some serious damage. Things are slowly getting back to normal. We had 4.4 inches of rain in just over an hour. That is our yearly rainfall in a normal year. Plus that came after a week of nonstop rain so the ground was already saturated before it started. I know I am horribly behind in comments, I doubt I will be able to catch up but do intend to stay caught up from here on in. Hope this finds everyone having a good summer. Jim

What an amazing photo Jim, and your timing couldn't have been better to perfectly capture this comparison. Sorry to hear about your problem with the rainstorms and hope things improve soon. It's funny in your area of the world you have dangerous amounts of rain, and in our area we are now rationing our water because of lack of rain

Awesome photo Jim. Hope you enjoyed the Rodeo as I slept after a hard day's night at work. Sadly have to miss all weekend, but it is too hot,too smelly and over croweded at the grounds for me. LOL. Love and Hugs. P.S. Thanks for all the flood clean-up you have been busy at for the last little while. Hopefully it is coming to a end now that we have purchased a pump. Love and appreciation to you my dear.

A great action-shot, Jim. I'm sorry to hear you had so much hard work by all those rains. Hoping you can permit yourself to rest a bit now. You should not feel obliged to give your comments. ;-)

the main thing is you are safe and get it all cleaned up. dont worry if you miss a few comments,as everyone with at least 2 braincells should be able to understand that you must set other priorities now lol.

A great action shot and you couldn't have got it better if you had posed it. Lovely to see you back but not so good getting all that rain at once, it looks as though that is going to be the norm for a while. Heavy rain, floods, hot temperatures, droughts and cold winters. The costs are going to be huge. Don't worry about catching up on my gallery either it is impossible to get around everyone I have found.

What you captured is more iconic that the poster IMHO! It is so like many art pieces I have seen in the past.
