The subdued blur works well, interesting "painterly" work on the background photo too and all-round great scene- love the intense colours especially.

my granddad was a kamikaze pilot, he got sacked after returning from his fourth mission. Nice pov, you've inspired me.

Very nice, love the splashes. Bow wave and wake would be nice. Also consider rendering in a larger size. Littlekitten: nice bit of personal history, was he a member of the Kamikaze veterans association? :) :) ROTFL!
