Description
One of my favorite pix from Sat night. I hope you like it too. Thanx for looking. ^_^
EDIT. Some people don't seem to know what a Trash the Dress shoot is, here's the lowdown via wikipedia...
Trash the dress, also known as fearless bridal or rock the frock, is a style of wedding photography that contrasts elegant clothing with an environment in which it is out of place. It is generally shot in the style of fashion and glamour photography. "Trash the dress" is the art of destruction or deconstruction of a brides wedding dress to create a new "artwork" that the bride would be proud to display on their wall. This new "masterpiece" is formed in the creative destruction of the dress. This will normally be portrayed in a sequence of images or simply a single image.
Not all of these are by actual brides, the shoots I go to is just a bunch of models with collected dresses.

What a charming young lady with a lovely smile and expression! A most interesting pose here in the water, particularly with the white dress on! A great twist and concept!

This is excellent and exactly what I am planning to do as well. I have purchased two dresses, one an elegant ball gown, the other a wedding dress. I'm currently trying to find models who will fit them and who will get wet for me! I love this pose and, with your permission, I will use it too as I don't think I would have thought of it!

Thanks for the beautiful shot and the explanation of the term: Trash the Dress.. Never too old to learn...

Personally, I love to see something a little different from the usual wedding shots! Goodo! That water looks cold.

Great composition, exposure it a touch hot (dress got a touch blown out to 100% white), but necessary with ambient light and getting her face the right brightness. All in all very nice!
