I love tagetes and I also like the scent of them. I cant understand why so many people dislike them. I find them very beautiful. So here is (in my opinion)a lovely Tagetes. FULL SIZE is better Have a wonderful day. We have had cold rainy and cloudy and sunny weather included thunder. HMMM! Is it April now? Oh, I love this shot. It is so non-traditional for a flower shot and that makes it outstanding. The treatment is superb. The colors are perfect. It reminds me of ancient Egyptian mythology. In all of those old myths, lotus flowers are constantly growing, usually making something beautiful happen--they always grew out of chaos and brought order to it...or they grew out of dirty, scummy water, and made it pretty...and probably made it smell better too. I thought of this when I saw this image. I love the contrasts: the cloudy background and the solid flower. It's like the two are dancing together and making something exciting happen. Maybe the flower has decided that it wants to be a painter and so it's spreading its color through the air...making a picture. That's how this image feels to me, and it's brilliant!

Whatever you did, the result is amazing! Gorgeous! I love all those specks and squiggles of color, and the blur and glow are beautiful. We call them marigolds, and I like them too! :)
