More than 1000 years ago there was a monastery here. This shot was taken on the "Heiligenberg" near Heidelberg.

1000 years!! Hard for us in the US to imagine anything that old still standing. People here, think a house built in 1960 is too old. Ha! No sense of history! It's a wonderful image, and I can only imagine those that have passed through that doorway over the years.
