Yesterday we went to the "La Laguna" botanical Garden (Jardin Botanico "La Laguna").this place is unique in the world, it is the only botanical garden located in a volcanic crater, and also because it is the place where I asked Anna to marry me 27 years ago
We had a long time without visiting the site, and found many new things. The big surprise was this guy, who looked threatening, but possessed of a character so gentle, that did not move even though we were less than six feet from him. Measured as 1.50 meters from head to tail, and is completely harmless.
About the names on my last post, "Bonanza" is the first oldie,the other is "Lost in space" and recent serie is "The suite Life of Zack and Cody"

Amazing! Such a handsome creature! I happen to be very fond of reptiles (and other animals too) and I particularly like iguanas as they look so prehistoric and are generally very gentle creatures. Such a wonderful shot, and I loved the write up as well...time with a loved one in a significant place is always well worth it.

What a nice idea, to go back to - where you two originally met - CONGRATULATIONS! on such a long relationship, you don't find that very often anymore, Neto! and the Iguana is a bonus, they do look very similar to our Water-dragons, except for the colour of course ... BB (I have been so very busy the last 2 weeks and trying to catch up now)
