Computer geek extarodinaire, I love to tinker with gadgets and tech items to get them to do what I want. I'm either logically artistic or artisically logical. I'm also rude, crude, semi-barbaric, socially unacceptable, and totally psychotic. On the bright side - I am potentially harmless. I'm currently trying to write some short stories about the fae as well as a novel on those same fae as well as two other novels. The programs I have for photo and image editing are: Photoimpact from Ulead, Adobe Photoshop 7 and Corel Paint Shop Pro 2X. Recently I've added DAZ Studios as well as Terragen, Blender and Google Sketch to my list of programs crowding my hard-drive.  All this and much more on an old Pentium III 450 with 396 Megs of memory and operating Windows XP. It does get interesting at time.As of December 26, 2008, I have added Vue 7 Pioneer to my list of reason of why I'm going insane.
As of January 2010 I upgraded to a new HP 2 dual core processor with 6 gigs onboard mem with 4 gig powerboost and 2.07 terabytes of Hard drivesMy email is faemike55@gmail.com

Netot is right on. Whenever I do a visitation with someone who has diabetes, my female garage cat (Alice) hisses, my calico (Patches) hides and my male long hair black domestic (Shadow) doesn't care what I smell like, I represent food. I have to shower before Alice or Patches will come around. May be a gender thing with cats and diabetes. Just realized that while writing this. Glad you're looking for a new home for her. If I didn't already push the neighborhood covenants with my three, I'd try for four. We can have up to three pets but not all the same species. I tell them Patches isn't a cat, she's a Calico, they're different. ;o) Hope your brother-in-law recovers well.

Ceci the siamese doesn't like our Grandchildren ages 10 and 8. They are scared of her, and play this out. She in turn likes to wack them with her paws. (Front declawed) I'am toally sick of both cat and kids games. Your brother in law should get a shot, it's so easy to get infection from cat bite or scarch. Nice photo

strange but a beautiful cat.I like cats and kids if they belong to some one else

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. That's strange Mike. I've had a lot of cats over the years and they don't typically do something like that. Something was wrong with either the cat (not feeling well perhaps) or the environment - perhaps something in the environment was causing stress. Well, as the first commenter said, I am glad they didn't have the cat destroyed.

Dave started off with my thoughts Mike. A good looking cat and adoption is a much better resolution than euthanasia.

Cats can be loving and yet they can be vicious at times....to bad that it had to happen.... Aloha

That's sad news Mike, both for your Brother in Law.. and for 'Bella. She's a cool looking Moggie. Good to know that Dan is OK though, and yes, cats do funny things at times, for reasons unknown. But hopefully she to is alright and finds a good home. Otherwise, that is a cool photo!

It's a wonderful shot of Bella, Mike. I'm so sorry about what happened. So good her nails where short! I guess Bella is now in the animal shelter, waiting for someone who wants to adopt her. I hope you will mis her not too much. I see a Holland/windmill on your shot, such nice ;-). (Thank you so much for your understanding and your words of support, dear Mike. I was touched by it.)
Crudelitas
Oh, this is truly tragic! But they say cats also demonstrated that they ever feed her dead mistress, when she cold. We must not forget, that cats are always predators. My cat attacked me in my sleep and tried to bite me in the throat. I hope your brother in law will soon be healthy and the cat is in good hands. Very cute photo!
